You will need inexpensive figurines that match your Wild Dough for this simple, duo-toned colour matching activity. Keep your eyes peeled for loose parts when you visit your craft/discount store; there's always an inspiration to be found! Once you have your two colours, mix the figurines, have your child play with one colour on one side of the table and the other colour on the opposite side. Have them colour sort and play. You can also use cookie cutters inspired by the loose parts to enhance play. With an older child learning to read, print out the words for the colours or letters for the objects. For example; Pink, Purple, and the letters for "UNICORN" and help them sound out the word and place the letters together. Have the child put the purple and pink signs in the appropriate colour.
This unicorn find is perfect for a colour matching activity and is almost identical to our Twilight Purple and Flamingo Pink Wild Dough!

Wild Dough lovingly crafts playdough to spark imaginations by inspiring fun, creative play. It’s scented, non-toxic, super soft and is really long-lasting and handmade in Australia.

It was created by a mum for her own kids. So trust us when we tell you the secret of Wild Dough is that kids play with it longer, and therefore gives time back to mums. After all, what mum couldn't use some more time for themselves?
