Children love to sing happy birthday and pretend to blow out the candles. This simple activity can be done with stickers or cut out from cardboard. All you need is some extra birthday candles, and you have a fun activity. Depending on skill level, you might want to pre-press the number of candles in your cake; and get ready to count!
To increase the difficulty, you can use higher value numbers dependent on how many candles you have on hand, or place the candles on first and have the child add the numbers to the correct cake!
Celebrate when they have correctly matched up candles to numbers with a fun Hip Hip Hooray!
